Everyone has advice. How to raise your kids. How to build your career. How to age. What to eat. What to wear. Whether to stay, leave, save, quit, start, simplify, optimize.
Some of it’s thoughtful. Some of it’s useful. Some of it’s just… noise.
I used to treat every piece of advice like homework. Like I needed to consider it, research it, or explain why I wasn’t following it.
I don’t anymore. Just because something worked for someone else doesn’t mean it’s the right answer for me.
I’m still open to learning. I’m just more selective about what I let in.
